Lucknow, 04 November (HS). Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will run a membership campaign in Uttar Pradesh. Under the Constitution, a target has been set to create 50 lakh members in six months. This information was given by MP and in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Sanjay Singh in a press conference on Monday.
He told that not a single rupee will be charged for joining Aam Aadmi Party and becoming a member. Rather, free membership will be given. Members will also be made through online medium. For this, ten officials were selected in every district by the party high command.
Sanjay Singh said that on the last Sunday of every month, creative programs will be organized for the party. Through this, information about the work of Aam Aadmi Party will be made available to the public. In response to a question, he said that the Aadmi Party will agitate against the closure of schools in the state on November 9.
He said that Aam Aadmi Party will support the candidates of Samajwadi Party in the by-elections being held in Uttar Pradesh. If the SP leadership wants, the Aam Aadmi Party will also remain with it in the campaign.
In response to a question, Sanjay Singh said that the murders in the police stations of UP are very unfortunate. Law and order has deteriorated here. The policemen are acting arbitrarily. Apart from this, while targeting the BJP government, he termed the slogan “Bantoge to Katoge” as spreading hatred and doing politics of division.
