MLA Akhil Gogoi visited border areas in Mankachar

South Salmara (Assam), 04 November (Hindustan Reporter). Raiser party president and his party's lone MLA Akhil Gogoi visited the India-Bangladesh border at Mankachar in South Salmara-Mankachar district on Monday. He also visited the river bank erosion site in Shishumara area.

After reaching the Border Security Force (BSF) post in Shishumara, the MLA also talked to the officers and soldiers of the Border Security Force. During this period, the MLA visited the border area and also talked to the people living in the border areas. The MLA demanded permanent resistance to the ongoing erosion on the border.
