Raipur, 04 November (HS). The 83rd annual convention of the Indian Road Congress is being organized from 08 to 11 November at the Science College grounds in the capital Raipur. The convention will be inaugurated by Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on 08 November. Construction experts and scientists from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore will participate in this convention. In this convention, experts will give information about the latest technologies, policies and procedures in the field of road construction.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that 3000 delegates from across the country are coming to Raipur to attend this convention. All the new technologies coming in the field of construction in the world will be discussed here. We have decided to introduce the art, culture and civilization of Chhattisgarh to the people of the entire country. We are also going to showcase the strength of Chhattisgarh's culture, minerals, tourism and forests there.
According to the information given by the local administration, in this program lasting four days, it will be decided what kind of technologies should be adopted in different states, so that the roads can be made stronger, durable and safe. 129 stalls will be set up for the convention in the Science College grounds. Big domes are being built especially for these stalls, where various equipment will be displayed along with the design of roads, pathways, and dividers. The objective of these demonstrations is to make people aware of the latest technologies and advancements in road construction. Attendees will be able to visit these stalls and get information from experts and experience the changes taking place in the field of road construction.
Cultural programs will also be organized during the convention. This convention is being organized for the first time in the state, preparations for which are going on at a fast pace.
