More than 1500 patients reached the OPD of the district hospital

Moradabad, 04 November (HS). The OPD of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Joint District Hospital was jam-packed with patients when it opened full time after five days on Monday. Today more than 1500 patients reached the OPD of the district hospital. There were long queues of patients and attendants in the OPD of all the government hospitals of the district including the divisional level district hospital since morning.

In view of the Diwali holiday, the OPD was open only half the time from Thursday to Saturday and there was a holiday in the OPD on Sunday. In view of the limited opening of OPD during holidays, very less number of patients reached the district hospital. At nine in the morning, there was a long line of patients at the counter to get the prescription made. Those patients who feared that their condition would worsen due to their deteriorating health, came to see the doctor during the half OPD.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kuldeep Singh said that emergency services operated smoothly during the holidays. OPD was open half the day for five days. OPD services became completely smooth from Monday. After several days of half-day holiday, the number of patients in OPD increased on Monday. All patients were given treatment as per their need.
