In the meeting, the Collector directed Additional Collector Rupesh Upadhyay to ensure and monitor action for installing rainwater harvesting systems and solar panels in all the government offices of the district including the office. He directed the Municipal Corporation Commissioner that along with providing the building license certificate by the Municipal Corporation, he should also collect the certificate for installation of rainwater harvesting system from the concerned building owner. He said that for this, municipal corporations and urban bodies should continuously monitor.

The Collector said that the latest technology of rain water harvesting is playing an important role in water conservation and management. Water crisis can be reduced and underground water level can be improved through rain water harvesting. Rainwater harvesting also has benefits which include helping in water conservation and management, improving underground water level, reducing water pollution, useful in times of water crisis.

Organize camps to make Ayushman cards for 70 plus senior citizens

Said that Ayushman cards of more than one lakh 70 plus senior citizens have to be made in the district, for which Health Department, District Panchayat, Urban Body, Social Justice Department should work in coordination and make as many Ayushman cards as possible within the time limit. . He said that for this, public awareness campaign and publicity should be carried out. So that the information about Ayushman Card can reach the senior citizens and invite them by taking the list of senior pensioners of the district.

He said that all urban bodies should also organize programs in district panchayats and invite all the senior citizens to the program and make their Ayushman cards in the program itself. He said that camps should be organized in all the 48 wards of the Municipal Corporation and the Municipality and Municipal Council should also organize camps and spread publicity for making Ayushman cards in their respective wards. Similarly, camps were also organized in all the District Panchayats and Gram Panchayats. He said that so that Ayushman cards can be made for all the senior citizens, get the support of Anganwadi workers, assistants, Asha, ANM, secretaries, assistant secretaries, Patwari and Kotwar and make Ayushman cards for senior citizens.

Collector said that manure and fertilizers are being continuously supplied in Sagar district. Fertilizer is being distributed at all the fertilizer distribution centers in the presence of SDM, Tehsildar. He directed all the SDMs to provide necessary basic facilities at the fertilizer distribution centres, mainly providing drinking water and shade to protect from sunlight. There is also a continuous supply of fertilizer as per requirement. He said that farmers should buy and use other existing fertilizers in place of DAP, other fertilizers are equally effective and beneficial.
