Chittorgarh, March 12 (Hindustan Reporter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various railway projects worth more than Rs 85 thousand crore through video conferencing from Ahmedabad. BJP state president and Chittorgarh MP CP Joshi joined the program at Chittorgarh station. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for the gifts of railway development given to the state and Chittorgarh Lok Sabha constituency.
BJP state president CP Joshi, while addressing the program, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given many gifts to the state and Chittorgarh Lok Sabha in various fields including railways in the last ten years. Today PM Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal located at Khemli and Bhupalsagar station, Chittor Ujjain Memo Train was virtually inaugurated and dedicated to the nation. Under One Station One Product Stall, product stalls at Dungarpur, Khamlighat, Ajmer, Vijaynagar, Nasirabad, Bhilwara, Mavli Junction, Kapasan, Fatehnagar, Marwar Junction, Rani, Falna, Sojat Road, Somesar, Abu Road, Pindwara, Rana Pratap Nagar and Udaipur stations. And Goods Shed Nathdwara was inaugurated. The work of railway electrification in Chittorgarh parliamentary constituency is almost complete. At present various railway development works worth Rs 53,045 crore are in progress in the state. To improve and upgrade the railway infrastructure in Rajasthan, a record allocation of Rs 9,782 crore has been made to Rajasthan in this year's budget. This will strengthen the rail infrastructure of Rajasthan.
MP spokesperson Anil Sisodia said that various railway development works in Chittorgarh parliamentary constituency like major redevelopment of Chittorgarh railway station, passenger train between Ujjain to Chittor, work of passenger waiting room and retiring room in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism, work of passenger train between Neemuch to Ratlam. Due to doubling in the middle, there will be a lot of convenience for the railway passengers due to increase in the speed of trains between Chittor and Ratlam. During the program, District President Mitthu Lal Jat, District Chief Bhupendra Singh Badoli along with public representatives, party officials, workers and railway department officials and employees were present.
