  • You can feed 630 to 840 ml milk in a day to children weighing 7 kg.
  • A 9 kg child can be given 800 to 1000 ml milk daily.
  • You can give 600 ml milk daily to children above 1 year of age.
  • Premature babies should generally be fed formula at a rate of about 150 to 180 ml per kilogram.
