Mission Statehood President Sunil Dimple led a protest rally of traders at Janipur High Court Road demanding immediate resumption of Darbar Move, restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and adherence to the terms of merger. Expressing concern over the growing security issues in the region, Dimple addressed the recent increase in encounters in Kashmir in areas like Khanyar, Srinagar, Budgam, Bandipora and Anantnag. He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to coordinate with the state government to address security concerns.
Meanwhile, Dimple also called for decisive action against Pakistan and urged the Prime Minister to liberate Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), Gilgit and Baltistan.
