As soon as the villagers started questioning, six people ran away, while three were caught by the villagers. After much effort, all three announced their names.
What did the three say to the villagers?
All three identified themselves as Sohrab, Shahzad and Niaz, who are said to be residents of Mau. In front of the villagers, the three youths claimed that they were from Yogiji's monastery in Gorakhpur. His family members are also earning their living by begging under this tradition. They are also doing this work like their family members. In this matter, Shivkumar Gupta said that incidents of theft have increased in his area these days. They suspect that these people do Reiki while begging and then commit criminal activities at night.
Police sent all three to jail
Kasimabad area officer said that on the complaint of Shivkumar Gupta, the police has arrested three people who were begging in the guise of sadhus. All three have declared their names to be from the Muslim community. In this case, Kasimabad Kotwali police registered a case against all three under Section 391(1) and sent them to jail.
