Araria, 02 November (HS). SSB and Jogbani police station took joint action on Friday evening at Jogbani border pillar number 180 located on the India-Nepal border and arrested a smuggler traveling in a car with 24 kg of ganja.
The arrested ganja smuggler from Nepal had hidden the ganja packet by making a separate cellar under the trunk of Swift Dezire car number BR11K-2202. SSB and Jogbani police station jointly took this action on the basis of secret information.
The car was also seized along with the ganja. The smuggler arrested in the case is Amit Kumar Paswan, 21-year-old son of Pradeep Paswan, resident of Dumariya ward number one of Vistoria Panchayat of Raniganj police station area.
