According to the information, the incident took place in Chhatripura area of Indore. Here some children were bursting crackers in the afternoon. Then some youths standing nearby protested and refused to burst crackers. There was a dispute on this matter and both the communities came face to face. People also raised slogans after the incident.
The entire incident happened at a distance of 150 meters from Chhatripura police station. As the dispute escalated, police reached the spot, but by then the situation was out of control. After this, forces from four nearby police stations reached the spot.
Organizations protested
Activists of some organizations also reached the spot and started demanding the arrest of the other party and registration of a case. People from other organizations also raised slogans. On this the police tried to convince all the parties and also assured action.
The administration has also deployed riot control vehicles on the spot. Here people from various organizations demonstrated for a long time by raising slogans. The commotion continued for about one and a half hours.
