Araria, 01 November (HS). Scrap worth lakhs of rupees was burnt to ashes when a fire broke out in a scrap warehouse located in Bhagkohlia ward number eight of Forbesganj police station area late on Thursday night.
Two fire brigade vehicles with the help of local people brought the fire under control after hours of hard work. The cause of the fire is not clearly known. But it is being speculated that the fire started due to the spark of a firecracker.
The scrap yard is said to be Mohib Ansari's father late Majeed Ansari, a resident of Kohaliya Ward No. 8. On receiving information about the fire, Sub Inspector Ranjan Kumar Singh and Amit Raj from the police station reached the spot along with police forces to maintain law and order. But kept trying to control it.
