In this, firecrackers were sold at Government Polytechnic Kanth Road, Mandi Committee Line crossing, Bread Factory located in Khushalpur, Parker College Station Road, behind Buddhi Vihar Circuit House, Buddhi Vihar Jan Sabha Ground. There has been a business of more than Rs 35 crore at all these places.
On Thursday, the holy festival day of Diwali, the fireworks started as soon as the sun went down, which continued till around 2 am in the night. The fireworks increased as it became dark. The sky was filled with rainbow colors due to the colorful lights of rockets and colorful firecrackers. People's hands would reach their ears before the bomb exploded. As soon as it burst, the children started shouting excitedly. The sparklers and charkha continued to attract the children. However, people had purchased firecrackers many days in advance and on the day of Diwali itself. But even till the last moment, people kept reaching the firecracker market with the desire to buy better and bigger bombs. In such a situation, the firecracker markets remained buzzing. Naveen Gupta, a wholesaler of firecrackers in Moradabad, said that this time fireworks worth more than Rs 5 crore have been sold in Moradabad. Last year, firecrackers worth more than Rs 30 crore were sold in Pitalnagar.
