Bibek Debroy, founder of the dream of developed India, said goodbye to the world.

Bibek Debroy, the country's well-known economist and Chairman of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council, has passed away at the age of 69. Recognized for his significant contributions to the Indian economy, Debroy played an important role in shaping the country's economic policies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences on the demise of Debroy by posting on social media.

Debroy did his schooling from Ramakrishna Mission School, Kolkata. After this he did further studies from Delhi School of Economics and Trinity College, Cambridge. He worked at Presidency College, Kolkata from 1979 to 1984. After this he worked at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune till 1987 and then at the Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi till 1993.
