Rajkot: While bootleggers have unloaded huge quantities of liquor to quench the thirst of thirsty people on Diwali, a team of Rajkot Rural LCB raided two places in Jasdan and Gondal. Foreign liquor in the quantity of Rs 48 lakh was seized. In two impressions Rs. 6,688 bottles of liquor and vehicles worth Rs 48 lakh were found and goods worth Rs 68 lakh were seized.
On the instructions of Rajkot District DIG Jaipal Singh Rathore, LCB PI V.V. Odedara and his team raided two different places. In which Rajkot's famous bootlegger Altaf Hanif Haim alias Altaf Chha Prich and Soyeb Razak Oriya conducted a raid around Mota Dalwa village near Jasdan before ordering liquor and cutting the quantity and recovered liquor in Isar. of. No. GJ19Y1013 and Bolero Pickup Van GJ10T9822. 2460 bottles of liquor were recovered.

Shambhunath Barik Deenbandu Barik and Pulin Patra Anant Patra, originally from Orissa and currently residing in Vijaynagar on Bhavnagar Road, Rajkot, were arrested with goods worth Rs 46 lakh.
