Prayagraj, 31 October (Hindustan Reporter). More than 40 crore devotees are expected to reach Kumbhnagari in the Mahakumbh which is going to be organized in Prayagraj. The Yogi government of the state is making preparations day and night to ease the movement of devotees and tourists coming for this event. Along with substantially increasing the number of buses for the visitors arriving at Mahakumbh, UP Roadways is also giving special training to its personnel on how to behave with the passengers.
Roadways drivers and operators will play the role of Kumbh Mitra
In Maha Kumbh, the largest number of devotees are expected to reach Kumbh city by road. Transport Corporation will play an important role in this. Most of the devotees are expected to reach Prayagraj through road transport. UP Roadways is busy in its preparations for this. Along with increasing the transportation resources for Maha Kumbh, there will also be focus on the behavior of human resources.
MK Trivedi, Regional Manager of Roadways Prayagraj Zone, says that the roadways operators and drivers will behave more friendly to the devotees coming to Mahakumbh than the roadways personnel. For this, counseling of drivers and conductors is being done. For this, a school for drivers and conductors is being conducted every morning at the Civil Lines Bus Stand of the city. They are being told how to behave politely and friendly with the devotees during rush hours in roadways buses.
10 mentors selected from every depot are giving training
At the time of Maha Kumbh, the drivers and conductors of the roadways that transport the devotees to the Kumbh city will be seen as new Kumbh Mitras along with their traditional role. There are 1100 conductors and 974 drivers in the circle. These 2074 roadways personnel are being given skills and behavior training. According to the regional manager of Prayagraj region of UP Roadways, a training module has been developed for this. Under this, ten roadways personnel have been selected from each of the eight depots who are motivating and training the operators and drivers.
In the selection of mentors, care has been taken that only those people are selected who can contribute to this work with faith and dedication. Apart from this, those who have had a good record in service till now and who have been leaders in working with team work.
