New Delhi, 31 October (Hindustan Reporter). There seems to be pressure in the domestic stock market during early trading today. Today's trading started with a slight gain, but as soon as the market opened, due to selling pressure, both the stock market indices plunged into the red. Although after the first half hour of trading, there was some improvement in the situation due to the support of buying, despite this both the Sensex and Nifty indices continued to trade in the red. After the first one hour of trading, Sensex was trading with a weakness of 0.33 percent and Nifty with a weakness of 0.30 percent.
After the first hour of trading, among the stock market's leading stocks, Cipla, Larsen & Toubro, ONGC, Sun Pharmaceuticals and Hero MotoCorp were trading with gains ranging from 7.39 percent to 0.75 percent. On the other hand, shares of Tech Mahindra, HCL Technology, TCS, Infosys and Trent Limited were seen trading with a fall of 3.90 percent to 1.64 percent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,336 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,635 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 701 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 8 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 22 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 19 shares were seen trading in green mark and 31 shares were seen trading in red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today with a gain of 102.77 points at the level of 80,044.95 points. Due to selling pressure as soon as trading started, the index lost all its gains and dived into the red. Due to continuous selling in the market, this index fell to 79,583.69 points in the first half hour of trading. However, after this the buyers tried to create buying pressure, due to which there was a slight improvement in the position of this index. Despite this, this index continued to trade in the red. After the initial 1 hour of trading between continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am the Sensex was trading at the level of 79,676.62 points with a weakness of 265.56 points.
Like Sensex, NSE's Nifty started trading today at 24,349.85 points with a nominal rise of 9 points. Due to selling pressure as soon as the market opened, this index also slipped into the red mark within a short time. Due to continuous selling, this index fell to the level of 24,234.30 points in the first half-hour of trading. However, after this, buyers also tried to support the market by starting buying. Despite this, this index continued to trade in the red. After the initial 1 hour of trading between continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 24,267.75 points with a weakness of 73.10 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Wednesday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 79,942.18 points with a decline of 426.85 points or 0.53 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Wednesday's trading at the level of 24,340.85 points with a weakness of 126 points or 0.52 percent.
