Jammu, 30 October (HIST). Chief Minister Omar Abdullah attended Charar-e-Sharif to commemorate the Urs of Jammu and Kashmir's revered saint and spiritual guide Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA). The Chief Minister was also accompanied by Rural Development Minister Javed Ahmed Dar and Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani. Together they participated in the Urs honoring the life and teachings of Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA) who is known for his contribution to the spiritual heritage of the region.
On this auspicious occasion, Chief Minister Abdullah prayed for lasting peace, prosperity and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood across Jammu and Kashmir. In his message the Chief Minister emphasized the message of unity and compassion given by Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA) and urged all to carry forward his legacy of harmony and mutual respect.
