Collector Ruchika Chauhan on Wednesday reviewed the preparations for the district level program of Govardhan Puja and Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day, which is going to be organized at Adarsh ​​Gaushala Lal Tipara on November 2 under the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. He instructed the concerned officials to respectfully invite public representatives, intellectuals and distinguished citizens to this event. Also, all the arrangements at the venue should be the best. He said that the Foundation Day program should be organized in a dignified manner.

The Collector said that the state government has also included Govardhan Puja in cow sheds in the Foundation Day program of Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, organize Govardhan Puja on November 2 in other cow shelters of the district including Lal Tipara. He instructed the concerned officials to invite regional public representatives to the Govardhan Puja and Foundation Day programme.

In the meeting held in the Collectorate Auditorium here, Collector Ruchika Chauhan said that to commemorate the Foundation Day of Madhya Pradesh, lights should be illuminated in major government buildings from October 31 to November 2. There should also be activities like cleanliness, decoration, rangoli etc. Special cleanliness should be done in the premises of historical monuments and statues of great men. Programs like distribution of sweets to construction workers and Deepotsav can also be organized in settlements of economically weaker families. He also gave instructions in the meeting to run an intensive cleanliness campaign to remove the fireworks waste generated during Diwali.

The Collector also asked to distribute fruits and sweets to the patients of government hospitals with the help of voluntary organizations on the occasion of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day. District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Vivek Kumar, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Aman Vaishnav, Additional Collector Anju Arun Kumar, Kumar Satyam and TN Singh and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.

Also organize exhibition of products of self-help groups

Collector Ruchika Chauhan also gave instructions in the meeting to organize exhibitions for the sale of goods manufactured by self-help groups and cottage industries of the district at other places including Collectorate and Municipal Corporation Commissioner's office on the occasion of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day. He said that this work should be done on priority.
