Gwalior, 30 October (HIST). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will participate in the district level celebrations of Govardhan Puja and Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day at the Adarsh Gaushala located at Lal Tipara in Gwalior on November 2. According to the rich tradition of Indian culture, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will pray for the prosperity of the state by performing cow worship and Govardhan puja at Lal Tipara Gaushala. Colorful cultural programs and competitions will take place on this occasion. There will also be an exhibition of products made from cow milk and dung. Let it be known that on the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the state government has decided to perform Govardhan Puja and cow worship in the cow sheds of every district of the entire state for the purpose of cow conservation and promotion.
On Wednesday, Divisional Commissioner Manoj Khatri along with Inspector General of Police Arvind Saxena and Collector Ruchika Chauhan and other senior officials took stock of the preparations for the program proposed to be hosted by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on November 2 at Lal Tipara Gaushala. He gave instructions to the Municipal Corporation Commissioner and officials of other concerned departments to complete all the arrangements within the time limit. Also said that cultural programs should be in accordance with dignity. The arrangements should be such that the citizens coming to participate in the event can reach their place conveniently. Barricading should be done for this. Officials were also asked to make better parking arrangements.
On this occasion, Saint Rishabhdevanand, head of Lal Tipara Gaushala, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Vivek Kumar, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Aman Vaishnav, Smart City CEO Neetu Mathur, Additional Collector Anju Arun Kumar, Kumar Satyam and T N Singh, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation were present. Officials from other concerned departments including Vijay Raj and Munish Sikarwar were present.
Folk dances and bhajans will be presented by the artists of Mathura in the Govardhan Puja and Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day celebrations on November 2 at Lal Tipara Gaushala. Besides, there will also be painting, fancy dress, folk song and traditional game Sitauliya competition on this occasion. Children dressed as Krishna, Radha and Gwala – cowherds will also be the main attraction of the program. There will be an exhibition of 11 types of products made from cow dung including butter and shrikhand, cow dung crafts, organic fertilizers and CNG.
