China's new policy for child birth: China, which once ranked first in the world in terms of population, is not liking its second rank. In this matter too, it has announced a strange policy in an attempt to become world leader.

In view of China's continuously decreasing birth rate, the government there has announced greedy policies like benefit of subsidy on having more children and tax exemption for families. These greedy policies are meant to encourage more people to have children.

More than 13 incentives on the birth of a child

The State Council of China has issued guidelines in this regard. In which the focus has been on increasing the birth rate of children. More than 13 incentives have been provided, including boosting maternity support services, expanding child care systems, education, housing and employment. Priority has also been given to creating a favorable social environment for the birth of more children. China wants to regain the first place in the world in terms of population through innovative policies.

The State Council has emphasized promoting a new culture of marriage and childbearing. He said that the importance of marriage at appropriate age and joint care of children by parents should be explained. These include better maternity insurance, maternity leave, subsidies and medical facilities for children.

India tops with 1.45 billion

The council has recommended local governments to allocate budget for child care centers and exempt taxes and fees for such services. The population of China is 1.4 billion. Last year the birth rate there reached a record low. With a population of 1.45 billion, India has overtaken China to become the world's most populous country.

Number of elderly increased in China

There is a large number of youth in India's population. Whereas most of the population in China is elderly. In China, the elderly outnumber the young due to longer life expectancy and a declining birth rate. Which is a matter of concern for China. Last year, the number of people aged 60 years or older in China reached 30 million. Which is 21.1 percent of its total population.
