These days potters are busy preparing different varieties of lamps for sale. This time due to inflation the number of earthen lamps has been increased. Potter Ramesh told that 100 lamps are being given to the customers in the market for Rs 100 to Rs 120. He said that not only making lamps is a problem but there are many problems in selling them too. People bargain even after such low prices.

Shopkeepers selling earthen lamps said that huge sales are expected this Diwali. He told that on the last Diwali, he used to go to homes to sell lamps. Even then there were very less sales but this time people are coming to his shop and buying lamps as well as other earthen items.
