Patna, 29 October (HS). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today transferred a total amount of Rs 101 crore directly into the accounts of 1 lakh 52 thousand flood affected farmers through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

The compensation amount to the farmers is being given by the state government. In today's program this amount has been distributed for the first phase. After verifying the other applications received, the amount will soon be distributed to the remaining affected farmers.
