Vari Energy listed at bumper premium of 56 per cent, shares hit intra-day high of Rs 2,600

Vaari Energies IPO: Equity shares of solar panel maker Vaari Energies Limited (Vari Energies Limited) were listed on the Indian stock exchange today at a bumper premium of 56 per cent over the issue price of Rs 1,503.

It listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) at Rs 2,550, 69.66 per cent above the issue price. Intra-day the stock rose 72.98 per cent to Rs 2,624, although the stock closed 55.47 per cent higher at Rs 2,336.80.

While the share price on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose by 66.33 percent to Rs 2,500. However, the price closed at Rs 2,345 at the end of the market session. With this, the market capitalization of the company has increased to Rs 67,132.34 crore.

In terms of volume, 24.26 lakh shares were traded on BSE and 215.35 lakh shares were traded on NSE.

Meanwhile, BSE Sensex rose 602.75 points or 0.76 per cent to 80,005.04, while NSE Nifty rose 158.35 points or 0.65 per cent to 24,339.15.

Let us tell you here that Waari Energies Limited was subscribed 76.34 times. The company had fixed the price range of Rs 1,427 to Rs 1,503 per share for the public offering.
