Voter awareness campaign conducted among disabled and elderly voters

Khunti, 28 October (Hindustan Reporter). Under the SVEEP program, voter awareness programs are being continuously run by the administration in the district. In this sequence, a voter awareness campaign was conducted among disabled and elderly voters on Monday.

An appeal was made among the voters in various blocks of the district to cast their vote. Everyone was motivated to vote on 13th November, the day of polling in Khunti and Torpa assembly constituencies.

Voter pledge was given to all the voters on the spot. Disabled and elderly voters themselves appeared quite eager to vote. Everyone spoke about being conscious citizens of the country and said that they must vote. All necessary preparations are being made by the district administration to ensure voting of disabled and elderly voters. Other arrangements including wheelchairs are being made, the main objective of which is to ensure 100 percent voting on November 13.
