Ranchi, 28 October (Hindustan Reporter). Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar said that today the children have written emotional letters to motivate the parents of the entire state to vote. Children should not be praised enough for this. School children today have reminded their parents of their constitutional responsibility and have proved that they will further strengthen their democracy in the future.

Kumar said that this campaign, in a way, left behind the experience of an emotional appeal by the children to their parents to fulfill their responsibilities. Such campaigns will be run continuously throughout the state to make voters aware and motivate them to vote during the assembly elections. He encouraged all the students associated with this campaign.

He said that in the assembly elections, 'Mummy Papa Vote Do' campaign was launched with the aim of making the voters of the state aware and enhancing the knowledge of the students. On Monday, 17,06,182 children from 18,570 schools across the state participated in this campaign. The appeal made by school children to their parents will definitely motivate people to exercise their franchise.

It is noteworthy that the campaign was conducted with the coordination of the Chief Electoral Officer and the Education Department. Under this campaign, school children made an emotional appeal by writing letters to their parents and guardians between 11 to 12 in the morning with a request for compulsory voting.

The posts given by the students were simultaneously shared by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer and the Information and Public Relations Department on the social media platforms of all the districts between 5 pm to 7 pm on Monday with the hashtag #MummyPapaVoteDo, so that it could be shared. So that it can be brought in and promoted among as many people as possible. During this hashtag campaign, more than 30 thousand posts were made only on Apart from this, more than 50 thousand posts were made on other social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, YouTube.
