Rudraprayag, 28 October (Hindustan Reporter). On Monday, a total of five candidates, including BJP, Congress, UKD, PPI (Democratic) and independent, filed their nominations for the by-election of Kedarnath assembly seat in the district. The last date for nomination is 29 October.
Nomination of BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal was filed in the by-election for Kedarnath assembly seat on Monday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Garhwal MP Anil Baluni, former Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank were also present on this occasion. For this seat, Congress candidate and former MLA Manoj Rawat filed his nomination in the presence of big leaders including State President Karna Mahara, former State President Ganesh Godiyal.
On Monday 07-Kedarnath Assembly Constituency Returning Officer Anil Kumar Shukla said that a total of five candidates including BJP, Congress, UKD, PPI (Democratic) and Independent have filed nominations in this by-election of Kedarnath Assembly. Among them, Asha Nautiyal from BJP, Manoj Rawat from Congress, Ashutosh Singh Bhandari from UKD, independent candidates Tribhuvan Chauhan and Pradeep Roshan Rudia filed their nominations.
