Korba, 28 October (Hindustan Reporter). Police have arrested five accused and a minor in a robbery case registered in Kotwali police station of Korba district. The accused had robbed the victim of his phone and money by threatening him. All the accused have been produced in the court and sent on judicial remand on Monday.
Police have identified the accused as Suraj Yadav, Babi Das, Shivam Das, Dnyaneshwar Bareth, Samrat Chauhan and a minor. Cash amount of Rs 3000 and a mobile phone have been recovered from the accused.
The police team under the leadership of Kotwali in-charge Korba Inspector MB Patel has played a commendable role. Superintendent of Police Korba Siddharth Tiwari, Additional Superintendent of Police UBS Chauhan and City Superintendent of Police Bhushan Ekka have congratulated the police team for the success. In this case, the victim said that the accused had threatened him and robbed him of his phone and money. The police took immediate action and arrested the accused. Presented in the court today and sent on judicial remand.
Korba Police has once again shown its commitment to take action against criminals.
