Mumbai, 28 October (Hindustan Reporter). Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday filed his nomination papers from Kopri-Panch Pakhari assembly constituency in Thane district. On this occasion, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, MP Naresh Mhaske, MLA Pratap Sarnaik etc. were present.
Before filing nomination today, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Anandashram and met Late. Took blessings of Anand Dighe. After this, Yogiraj Maharaj Gosavi, a descendant of Saint Eknath Maharaj, came to Thane and blessed Eknath Shinde. After this, Chief Minister Shinde filed his nomination papers with the election officials.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has filed his nomination papers for the fifth time from Kopri-Panchpakhari assembly constituency. In 2004, Eknath Shinde became MLA for the first time from this seat. Since then, Eknath Shinde has become MLA from this seat four times and now filed his nomination today to become MLA for the fifth time.
