Now China's concern has increased due to a step taken by the American government. This Friday, the US State Department approved a $2 billion arms sales package to Taiwan, including surface-to-air missile systems and radar to counter China's growing military power in the Asia Pacific region.
However, this deal has not yet received approval from the US Congress. But it is believed that Congress may approve it soon. These weapons will be supplied to Taiwan by the US Air Force.
