The battle for Maharashtra Assembly elections has become interesting. Eknath Shinde's party Shiv Sena has released the list of candidates. In which names of 20 candidates have been announced. The party has already announced the seats of Sanjay Nirupam and Milind Deora. Sanjay Nirupam has been fielded from Dindoshi seat while Eknath Shinde has given ticket to Milind Deora from Worli seat.
Milind Deora will face former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's son and Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Aditya Thackeray. This is one of the high-profile seats of Mumbai, for which there was a lot of discussion in the Mahayuti alliance. The Worli seat was wanted by the BJP but ultimately it was agreed that the Shinde group would retain it.
