Haridwar, 26 October (HIST). This time Iqbalpur Cooperative Sugarcane Development Committee is starting a new system for the convenience of its members. Under this, the committee will not only give the list of slips to the farmers through message but will also get them pasted at the weighing centers of their respective mills, so that the farmers who are not able to see the message due to being less educated can go to their weighing centers instead of the committee and get the slips. You can get information about.
Till two years ago, sugarcane committees used to issue manual sugarcane slips to farmers. After this, due to digitalization, farmers' slips started coming to their phones through messages. Due to this system, the work of the committees was greatly reduced, but the farmers started facing problems. The receipt of sugarcane slips in messages was beneficial for those farmers who are educated and use smartphones, but those farmers who are less educated or do not use phones started facing problems. He had to visit the committees again and again to get information about the slips.
In such a situation, the farmers had been demanding for a long time that the manual be issued again along with the slips and messages. This time, even before the start of the Parai session, Iqbalpur Cooperative Sugarcane Development Committee has started a new arrangement for its member farmers. Under this system, the list of names of farmers whose slips will be issued through message from the Sugarcane Committee will be pasted at the concerned weighing centre. In such a situation, those farmers who are unable to see the message can reach the center in the morning or at any time to get information about their slip. Now they will not have to make rounds of the sugarcane committee to get information about the slips.
Senior Sugarcane Development Inspector BK Chaudhary said that farmers will get a lot of benefits from this system. He said that this arrangement has been made at all the weighing centers from this new session. Under this, the names of sugarcane farmers will be sent to Toul Babu and the call in-charge will paste the list of farmers' names at his centre. He informed that the work of setting up a weighing center in the area has been started. It is expected that the mills will be commissioned in the first week of the month.
