Raisen, 26 October (Hindustan Reporter). Under the Special Brief Revision Program of Photo Electoral Roll-2025, the draft electoral roll will be published on 29th October. Along with this, the process of taking claims and objections for adding, amending and deleting names in the voter list will also begin. Collector and District Election Officer Arvind Dubey has given instructions to organize awareness activities to register the names of all the citizens of the district who have completed 18 years of age in the voter list.
In this sequence, on Saturday, a meeting of sweep icons and campus ambassadors of educational institutions was held in the Collectorate hall. Deputy District Election Officer Manish Sharma told the concerned officers, sweep icons and campus ambassadors of the district present in the meeting that the process of taking claims and objections for registering, amending and deleting names in the voter list will start in the district from October 29. Everyone has to make joint efforts to ensure that the voter list of the district is completely pure and that the names of all adult citizens are registered in the voter list. Sweep Icons and Campus Ambassadors should motivate the citizens who have completed 18 years of age and have completed 18 years of age in their respective areas to get their names added to the voter list.
In the meeting, Sweep Icon and Campus Ambassador were informed about the special brief revision program and informed that the receipt of applications related to claims and objections will start from October 29 and will continue till the last date of November 28. Four special camps will be organized under the special revision program of voter list. The final publication of the voter list will be done on 06 January 2025. In the meeting, the process of adding names to the voter list, necessary documents and precautions to be taken while applying were explained in detail.
The Deputy District Election Officer told the Sweep Icons and Campus Ambassadors that under the special short revision programme, special camps will be organized on 9th, 10th and 16th and 17th November respectively. In these camps, make joint efforts to get the names of as many adult citizens as possible added to the voter list. He told that the voter's name should be in the voter list at only one place. Offline applications will be taken by the BLO for adding names to the voter list, for making amendments and for removing the names of dead citizens or voters who have gone out. Apart from this, online applications can also be made through Voter Helpline App (VHA), Voter Portal, NVSP, Saksham App etc.
Principal of PMShri College Raisen, Dr. Ishrat Khan, District Education Officer, Principal of Government Girls College Raisen along with sweep icons of the district, campus ambassadors and students were present in the meeting.
