Surat: A man absconded with diamonds worth Rs 1.50 lakh from a diamond merchant in Surat. After which the matter reached Varachha police station. In which Varachha police caught the accused and confiscated all the diamonds. These diamonds have been returned to the dealer under the Tera Tujhko Arpana programme.
According to the information, Divyangbhai Damjibhai Gopani, living in Katargam area of Surat, is associated with diamond business. On 13-9-2024, accused Kewal Mavjibhai Tejani contacted the diamond merchant. Who placed the order saying that different CVD diamonds were required.
Therefore diamond merchant Divyang Gopani invested Rs. Only Tejani came to show Varachha mini market in front of Thakor Dwar Society Gate with CVD diamonds worth Rs 1.50 lakh. Meanwhile, the accused cheated by saying 'You wait here, I am coming to show the diamond merchant' and took the packet of diamonds and switched off his phone.
The whole matter reached Varachha police station. In which the police caught the accused Kewal Mavjibhai Tejani and seized diamonds worth Rs 1.50 lakh from him. The items in question were returned to the diamond merchant under the 'Tera Tujhko Arpan' program after obtaining orders from a reputed court within a few days of the count.
