Israel–Iran War: The Israel Defense Force (IDF) attacked several Iranian military bases on Saturday. He has also warned Tehran that if it makes the mistake of escalating tension, retaliatory action will be taken against it. After the Israeli attack, Iran, Syria and Iraq have completely closed their airspace. According to open source flight tracking website FlightRadar24, no aircraft is flying over these three countries. However, Iran has now announced that it will resume flights after the attack. Iraq said it had restricted airspace after the attack to protect civil aviation.
The attack was carried out in three phases
According to the IDF, the attack was carried out in three phases on Saturday morning with the support of the Israeli Air Force (IVF). The action was a response to the Tehran ballistic missile attack on 1 October. Israel Defense Forces said, 'The IDF has completed its mission. If the Iranian regime makes the mistake of escalating tensions again, we will retaliate. 'IAF aircraft have returned safely from the operation.'
This will have serious consequences: Israel
The IDF said, 'Those who threaten Israel and try to increase tensions will face serious consequences. “Today’s actions demonstrate our ability and commitment to defend Israel and its citizens both offensively and defensively.”
The IDF said that, based on intelligence, the air force had targeted manufacturing sites in Iran where the missiles fired at Israel last year were manufactured. The IDF said the missile posed a direct and immediate threat to Israeli civilians. Apart from this, Iran's surface-to-air missiles were also targeted in this campaign. Its purpose was to limit Israel's operational freedom in Iranian airspace.
The attack occurred after US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken returned from a trip to the Middle East. He appealed to the Israeli authorities not to escalate the conflict.
