Godhra: Four people from Gujarat have died in a road accident in Toronto city of Canada, which includes brothers and sisters from Godhra. Ketuba Gohil and Neelraj Gohil, daughter and son of Sanjay Gohil, living in Mangalmoot Society, Prabha Road, Godhra, had gone to study in a Tesla car with two youths of Borsad, Jairaj Sisodia and Digdivjay, on Thursday when the car collided with a pillar. A total of four people have died in this accident while one girl has survived. The families living in Godhra and Borsad are in shock after hearing the news of the accident.
Ketuba Gohil, 29, the eldest daughter of Sanjaysingh Gohil, resident of Mangalmoot Society on Prabha Road, Godhra city, had gone to Canada 6 years ago, where she was currently working as a lab technician after studies. Sanjay Gohil's 25-year-old son Neelraj Gohil had gone to Canada ten months ago on student visa. He was also working as a motor design student. The brothers and sisters lived in Bramton city of Canada. Jairaj Sisodia, Digvijay and Jhalak Patel of Borsad also lived with him.
Jairajsinh Sisodia, son of Bhadran College professor Harendrasinh Sisodia and nephew of former Borsad Assembly MLA Rajendrasinh Parmar, had gone to Canada five years ago on a student visa. He has recently acquired Canadian citizenship.
Meanwhile, Neelraj Gohil, who got first position in studies, went to dinner with friends and sister on Wednesday night Canadian time, where all five friends including brother and sister were returning in a Tesla car, when the Tesla car stopped on Cherry Street. The car crashed into a road near Lake Shore in Toronto, Canada, caught fire and exploded after hitting a pole. In this serious accident, all four Gujaratis including a brother and sister were burnt to death. However, the girl named Jhalak Patel survived as other drivers pulled her out in time while crossing the road. He has been admitted to the hospital.
