It is being told that Rahul Gandhi is angry over the seat distribution and during the meeting he expressed his displeasure over giving the seats held by Congress to Shiv Sena (UBT).

Also angry over delay in seat allotment
According to the report, Rahul Gandhi expressed displeasure over the delay in finalizing the seat allocation agreement between Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) allies for the assembly elections. In the CEC meeting held at the Congress headquarters in New Delhi, Rahul Gandhi said that the state Congress leaders failed to present their stand strongly. Due to which Congress got less seats than expected. Legislature party leader Balasaheb Thorat has been asked to meet Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray again on Saturday to resolve the dispute.

Maharashtra Congress leaders angry
A senior leader who attended the CEC meeting said that in the CEC meeting chaired by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi expressed his displeasure over the discussion regarding seat distribution in Maharashtra. The Congress leader, who did not want to be named, said he was angry with the state leadership as the Congress lost seats to its allies in the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance and the party also lost seats it was confident of winning. . He said that Rahul Gandhi is similarly angry with the Jharkhand party leadership.

Dispute over Mumbai and Vidarbha seats
Both Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT) are face to face for Mumbai and Vidarbha seats. This includes Bychalla, Versova, Nagpur South, Ramtek and Dhamangaon Railways. While addressing the media after the meeting, State Congress President Nana Patole indirectly admitted that he was insulted. Patole said that he was informed about the confusion that existed among the three parties regarding seat sharing and he was satisfied. He said that Congress should have got more seats on the basis of merit. Especially in Vidarbha, Marathwada, Western Maharashtra, North Maharashtra and Mumbai. He indicated that he was unhappy with the seat allocation talks in all the states.

Why did Rahul Gandhi leave the meeting?
