Speaking at the 18th Asia Pacific Conference of German Business (APK-2024), Prime Minister Modi said that Germany has decided to increase the number of visas for skilled Indians from 20,000 to 90,000 per year.
Chancellor Scholz said that the largest number of foreign students in German universities are Indians. Last year, 23 thousand Indian professionals started working in Germany.
Germany's Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Hubertus Heil said that Germany will need four lakh professionals every year. A large number of which will be transported from India.
