Jaipur, 25 October (Hindustan Reporter). The deadlock between the Rajasthan High Court Bar Association and the bench has once again come to the fore. In such a situation, the High Court Bar not only boycotted the Diwali Sneh Milan ceremony organized by the High Court administration, but also sent a letter to the President, CJI and the Prime Minister along with the Law Minister complaining about CJ MM Srivastava.

President of the High Court Bar Association, Prahlad Sharma said that the Supreme Court had decided in a case on April 20, 2023, that a dispute resolution committee will be formed at the High Court level to solve the problems of the lawyers. This committee will consist of CJ, two senior judges, Bar Council Chairman, Bar President and Advocate General. The High Court constituted the committee in the month of January last, but till date not a single meeting of the committee has been held. While the association has made representations to the CJ nine times so far regarding various problems, no action has been taken on it. The Bar President said that the High Court administration has not reformed the roster system. Thousands of cases are being listed for hearing before a single judge, whereas only a maximum of two hundred cases can be heard in a day. Apart from this, the High Court is not being run simultaneously on VC and physical mode. There is no resource available for VC in the courts. Apart from this, a letter was written to the CJ requesting him to set up a bench to hear the pending three thousand bail cases in view of Diwali, but no action was taken on that also. If his attitude continues like this, we will have to boycott his court also.
