Palamu, 25 October (Hindustan Reporter). For the assembly elections 2024, 38 nominations were filed on Friday, the last day for five assembly seats in Palamu district. Nominations were filed from 11 am to after 3 pm. Maximum 11 nomination papers were filed from Chhatarpur. 10 nominations were filed from Hussainabad. There were eight nominations from Daltonganj and seven from Vishrampur. Two nominations were made from Panki. A total of 99 nominations have been filed on the last day.
Let us tell you that the nomination process has been completed. The nomination papers will be scrutinized on October 28. In this sequence, if any candidate wants to withdraw his name, then the name can be withdrawn till 30th October.
From Hussainabad, Kamlesh Kumar Yadav from Samajwadi Party, Independent Rajendra Yadav, Omprakash Kumar, Awadhesh Singh, Umashankar Sharma, Bablu Kumar, Mukesh Chaudhary, Anita Devi, Mohammad Tausif, Kushwaha Shivpujan Mehta from Bahujan Samaj Party filed nominations.
Om Prakash Gupta, Pankaj Ram, Shriram Singh, Mukesh Prajapati, Aniket, Abhay Kumar Singh, Ayub Ansari and Indu Devi filled the nomination papers from Daltonganj. Amit Kumar Dubey, Brahmdev Prasad, Rajni Devi, Ajay Dubey, Sudhir Kumar, Nandev Yadav, Laxman Singh filed nomination from Vishrampur. Similarly, Congress candidates Lal Sooraj and Devendra Singh filed nomination from Panki.
