Gangtok, 25 October (Hindustan Reporter). Director General of North Eastern Region under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MBI), Government of India. Satish Namboodiripad reached Sikkim capital Gangtok today on a five-day official visit. This information has been given by PIB Sikkim.
During his visit, Namboodiripad will meet heads of media organizations from the central and state governments, members of the Press Club of Sikkim. He will also deliver a lecture to the students of the Department of Mass Communication, Sikkim Central University.
Namboodiripad's visit provides an important opportunity to share ideas and strategies to improve the outreach program of government initiatives while benefiting all sections of the society, according to a government release.
