Lawrence Bishnoi Pan India Case Update: The Special Cell of Delhi Police has got major success in the pan India action against Lawrence Bishnoi gang. 7 shooters of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi gang have been arrested. All the shooters have been arrested from Punjab and other states. Police have also recovered weapons from the shooters.
Earlier, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had also taken action against the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. NIA has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh on Lawrence's brother Anmol Bishnoi. Anmol Bishnoi alias Bhanu is the brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He is also an accused in the murder of singer-politician Sidhu Moosewala.
18 cases against Anmol Bishnoi
In the year 2023, the investigating agency filed a charge sheet against him. According to the information, he had fled from India on a fake passport. Anmol Bishnoi is reportedly traveling and was seen in Kenya last year and Canada this year. There are 18 criminal cases registered against Anmol Bishnoi. He has completed his sentence in Jodhpur jail. Anmol was released on bail on 7 October 2021.
Name surfaced in Baba Siddiqui murder case
The Mumbai Crime Branch, which is probing the Baba Siddiqui murder case, revealed that the shooter was in touch with Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi. The suspected killer had communicated with Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, through an instant messaging app (Snapchat) before killing the three shooters.
Anmol Bishnoi was in touch with shooter and planning mastermind Praveen Lonkar. Anmol was in contact with the accused in Canada and America. NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Bandra area of Mumbai on the night of Dussehra. So far, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has arrested 11 people in this case.
