Hazaribagh, 24 October (Hindustan Reporter). Congress leader and Indi Grand Alliance Congress candidate Munna Singh on Thursday filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections from Hazaribagh Assembly seat.
On the occasion, thousands of workers and local people joined in support of Munna Singh, who participated in this historic march in a convoy of bikes, cars and tempos. This nomination march started from Munna Singh's Chano residence and went to Lakhe, Matwari, District Mod and Reached Congress office via Jhanda Chowk. Munna Singh was warmly welcomed throughout the city. And all along the way his supporters greeted him with flowers and garlands.
After reaching the Congress office, Munna Singh was given a grand welcome, where senior officials and leaders of the Congress Party and the Indi Grand Alliance were present. After this, Munna Singh along with senior officials and members of India Grand Alliance reached the Collectorate Council and duly filed his nomination papers before the Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer.
While talking to journalists, Munna Singh said that this election is not just about one person, but about the aspirations and expectations of the entire Hazaribagh people. I am committed to the development of my area, the future of the youth and public service. The immense support and blessings I have received from the public is an inspiration for me and I will fulfill this responsibility with full dedication.
