Mumbai, October 24, (Hindustan Reporter). Mahayuti candidate from Nalasopara 132 assembly seat Rajan Naik will file nomination on Friday, October 25 in the presence of BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, Palghar Guardian Minister Ravindra Chavan, MP Dr. Hemant Savra. On this occasion, leaders, officials and workers of BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde), NCP (Ajit), RPI and other allies will be present with him. It is noteworthy that in Maharashtra, voting is to be held on 20th November and counting of votes is to be held on 23rd November.
BJP Vasai Virar District Campaign Head Manoj Barot said that Rajan Naik is a BJP worker prepared under the guidance of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He has been active in politics for the last 37 years. During this period he held several organizational positions in the Bharatiya Janata Party, from village level to district president. Apart from this, he has also performed remarkably in Zilla Parishad, Panchayat Samiti as well as as corporator-gatneta leader for 10 years. He has also served as a member of Palghar District Planning Committee and MMRDA.
Earlier, Rajan Naik had contested elections from the same seat in 2014. At that time he got second place with 60 thousand votes. In the last Lok Sabha elections, Rajan Naik played an important role in giving the BJP candidate a lead of about 71 thousand votes from Nalasopara assembly constituency. Considering his loyalty towards the party, the top leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party has declared him the Mahayuti candidate from Nalasopara-132 constituency. Barot said that Rajan Naik's victory is certain due to the atmosphere in favor of BJP across the country. He said that as soon as the nominations are filed, Mahayuti workers will start vigorously campaigning.
