Kathua 11 March (Hindustan Reporter) Thieves looted the shop of Billa General Store Manyari in Main Bazaar, Ward No. 7 of Kathua city. Whereas the main market is guarded by police and watchmen every night.
Shopkeeper Harish told that his shop has been stolen for the second time. Even before this his shop had been stolen. He told that a watchman is also deployed in the market while police patrolling is done daily. But despite that the incidents of theft are not stopping. He told that like every day he closed the shop at night and went to his home. After this, at 3:00 in the morning the patrolling police personnel called and informed about the breakage of the shutter.
As soon as the information was received, they reached the spot and found that the shutter of the shop was broken and Rs 5,000 in cash and some other items were also stolen. Overall there has been a loss of fifty thousand rupees. It is noteworthy that the incidents of theft are increasing day by day in Kathua city. The place where the theft took place is an old area of Kathua city and despite there being traffic till late night, the thieves carried out the theft.
