Khunti, March 11 (Hindustan Reporter) A surprise inspection of Khunti Upkara was conducted on Monday under the joint leadership of Deputy Commissioner Lokesh Mishra and Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar. Every ward and cell inside Khunti Jail was examined by the team of Sub-Divisional Officer Aniket Sachan and other magistrates and police personnel involved in the surprise inspection.
Besides, the medical arrangements of the prisoners in the jail were also reviewed. While inspecting the jail hospital, information was taken about the medical arrangements being provided to the prisoners. During this, the library and video conferencing room including women's and solitary cells were also inspected. Besides, the cleanliness of the premises was also checked. The officials included in the investigation team also inquired about the food arrangements for the prisoners in the jail.
