New twist in Baba Siddiqui murder case, police arrested three more accused

Mumbai Police on Wednesday arrested three more accused from Pune in the murder case of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui. According to the information given by Mumbai Crime Branch, three accused Rupesh Rajendra Mohol, Karan Rahul Salve and Shivam Arvind Kohar have been arrested. His involvement in this case has been proved. On the basis of which he has been arrested. It is noteworthy that till now a total of 14 people have been arrested in this case.

Police gave information

After the police arrested the accused, a police officer said that Rupesh Rajendra Mohol, Karan Rahul Salve and Shivam Arvind Kohar are all residents of Pune. The officer said Amit Kumar is suspected to be involved in planning and executing the murder. He said that some suspicious financial transactions involving him and other accused are also being investigated. Kumar was caught by a crime branch team from Haryana on Tuesday evening and brought to Mumbai on Wednesday morning. He has been sent to police custody till November 4.

Main link between mastermind Zeeshan Akhtar

According to the police, Kumar is the main link between one of the arrested shooters, Gurmail Singh, and absconding alleged mastermind Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar. The officer said that according to preliminary investigation, Akhtar was a common link between the shooters and the conspirators of the murder.

Haryana youth arrested

In the much talked about Baba Siddiqui murder case, the Mumbai Crime Branch team has arrested another accused from Kaithal, Haryana. In this case, the team has arrested the accused Amit alias Nathi, resident of Batta village of Kalayat. This young man is accused of giving shelter to Zeeshan Akhtar. Many criminal cases are also registered against him.

What is the allegation?

The arrested youth is accused of giving shelter to Zeeshan Akhtar by taking a rented house in Karnal during his absconding. According to reports, the two had been together for more than 15 days, two months before Siddiqui was murdered. To get information about Zeeshan Akhtar, the Mumbai Crime Branch team had detained the accused a few days ago.
