Mirzapur, March 11 (Hindustan Reporter) Eat Right Creativity Chalenge Phase-4 was organized on Monday under the auspices of the Food Safety Department. Competitions were organized in the program organized at City Club. School children participated enthusiastically. Chief guest of the program, Union Minister of State Anupriya Patel and special guest District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan interacted directly with the school children and discussed in detail on the topic of Eat Right.

The Union Minister of State said that due to our daily eating habits, we do not exercise. Due to this we are inviting many diseases. Due to these reasons, most of the people are suffering from serious diseases like diabetes, sugar and cancer. He said that it is not only necessary to fill the stomach, but the stomach also needs proper, nutritious and regular balanced food.

He said that along with this you should develop the habit of drinking plenty of water, so that there is no shortage of water in the body. Many diseases start arising due to lack of water. Avoid eating junk food, do exercise, play whatever sport you like. He said that if you do not keep your body fit, many diseases will arise in you. Appealing to the children, he said that all of you should consume vegetables according to the season because nature has given everything as per the requirement of the body according to the season and the same temperature.

The District Magistrate said that good and nutritious food is important for physical development. Apart from parents and teachers, it is important for children also to know which food is right and when to eat, which is wrong and which should not be eaten. Emphasizing on eating nutritious food to make the future generation in the country healthy, the District Magistrate said that parents should inculcate the habit of eating food regularly and at the right time in children. The children who won first, second and third prizes in the program were rewarded by the Union Minister of State and the District Magistrate by giving them shields and citations.

Designated Officer Food Safety and Drug Administration said that this campaign is an effort to sensitize the country's food system towards safe and healthy food. It is also an effort to bring public awareness in the field of nutritious food and consumer safety solutions.
