NTA JEE Mains 2025 New Update: It will take some more time to release the exam calendar of National Testing Agency (NTA) Exam-2025. But the schedule of engineering entrance test JEE Main is likely to come by the end of this week. On the demand of the Central Government, the Supreme Court has given two more weeks to the committee working to reform NTA to submit its report. In such a situation, information about the pattern and timing of the second exam of NTA will be available only after that. Now it will be difficult for NTA to postpone the schedule of JEE Main exam for a long time. JEE Main is conducted twice and it's time to start the registration process for the first phase. At least one month is given for JEE Main registration.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Date
Sources say that the schedule of JEE Main can be released on October 25 or 26. After the release of the dates, online registration will start on jeemain.nta.ac.in. The first phase examination is to be held in January 2025 and the second phase examination is to be held in April.
Sources say that after the report of the NTA committee, it will become clear which examinations will be in pen and paper mode and which examinations will be computer based tests. Many questions were raised regarding the medical examination NEET being in pen and paper mode. But as far as the engineering exam JEE Main is concerned, this exam has been computer based since the beginning and this time too it will be a computer based test.
NTA has also informed about changes in the pattern of JEE Main. JEE Main will be the first exam of NTA for the new session. Students will get about one month's time for online registration. It has also been decided that the registration process for all NTA examinations will be online only. Students will not get any choice in questions in JEE Main. Students must answer all 75 questions.
When will NTA Exam Calendar 2025 come out?
During Covid, there was a delay of about two years in conducting the country's major entrance examinations including engineering-medical. After that, all the examinations started coming back on track from 2023. But in 2024, a controversy started regarding irregularities in the medical examination NEET, which even reached the Parliament. After that a high level committee was formed to reform NTA. The examination calendar was released in September last year itself.
This time, sources say that until the committee's report comes and the situation regarding the exam pattern becomes clear, it will be difficult to release the schedule of other exams.
