CM Eknath Shinde's party has announced the list of its candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. State CM Eknath Shinde will contest from Kopri Pachapkhadi seat. Shiv Sena on Tuesday (October 22) announced the list of candidates for 45 seats. Sanjay Gaikwad has been given ticket from Buldhana. Abdul Sattar has been fielded from Sillod. Sanjay Shirsat has been made the candidate from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar West. The party has made Dadaji Bhuse its candidate from Malegaon constituency. Pratap Sarnaik will contest from Ovala Majiwada.

Along with this, Pratap Sarnaik will contest from Ovala Majiwada assembly seat of Maharashtra. Tanaji Sawant has been given ticket from Paranda. Deepak Keskar will contest elections from Sawantwadi. The party has given tickets to Shambhuraj Desai from Patan and Yamini Dadhav from Byculla.
Candidate from Mahim against MNS's Amit Thackeray
Maharashtra Navnirman (MNS)'s Amit Raj Thackeray has been fielded by Eknath Shinde faction's Shiv Sena from Mahim assembly seat in Mumbai. Current all-rounder Saravankar has been fielded again. Amit Thackeray is the son of MNS President Raj Thackeray. Jogeshwari, wife of former MP Ravindra Vyakar and son of Paithan MP Sandipan Bhumre have got the ticket. In this list, most of the sitting MLAs have got tickets again or their family members have got tickets.

The ruling Mahayuti in Maharashtra is contesting the assembly elections with alliance partners. Currently, there is a Mahayuti coalition government in the state and Eknath Shinde is the Chief Minister of the state, while the Deputy Chief Ministers are Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar. Voting for 288 assembly seats in the state will be held in a single phase on November 20. The election results will be declared on November 23.
